The CoServ Charitable Foundation (CCF) recently approved a $5,000 grant for the Santa’s Elves of Little Elm program to help provide for children and their families during the holiday season.
The Santa’s Elves of Little Elm rely solely on their own resources as far as retaining sponsors, grants and monetary gifts. The City of Little Elm allows them to use the Town Hall facility for events and as a pick-up location for gifts in December.
This program was established to help families with children (not necessarily enrolled in the Little Elm ISD), below school age, home-schooled children, children attending alternative schools and special needs children in the area.
Last year, funds helped over 562 area children. Because Little Elm expects a larger number of families to apply for assistance this year, the CCF grant couldn’t come at a better time. The funds will ensure that Santa’s Elves will be able to deliver toys, clothes, shoes, diapers, formula, and food—offering families and their children a little bit of Christmas cheer.
